The impact on the individual and civilisation - March 19th

We are more than excited to host Mark Jones again at our next C*I*A Academy presentation on March 19th. Mark has opened the door for astrologers to get a working knowledge of the Planetary Nodes from his book published in 2020, The Planetary Nodes and Collective Evolution.

I have noticed their impact watching the Planetary Nodes in various charts over the years, like when the Venus Star Point in Gemini of 2024, 14° Gemini, joined the North Node of Uranus and seemed to usher in and advance AI into our world and computers. Or now watching Epstein’s files releasing their vapours far and wide, implicating so many from around the world, and note that Epstein has his Nodal axis conjunct the (helio) planetary Nodes of Neptune and the South Node of Jupiter conjunct his ascendant. Israel and Donald Trump have Pluto conjunct the North Node of Neptune as well.

Donald Trump, has his Saturn conjunct the Nodes of Saturn, and the North Node of Venus conjunct his Uranus (and more), acting out as the ultimate ruler, yet the most irrational leader in this world. I have collected many more examples of these connections over the years inspired by Mark’s work and watching major transits. Coming up Jupiter will transit the Nodes of Pluto and Saturn in May and June 2026 @ 20° -24° Cancer. What will Jupiter bring as it connects with these collective planetary markers.

The Planetary Nodes: The Impact on the Individual and Civilisation. In this presentation, internationally renowned astrologer Mark Jones continues his groundbreaking work on the planetary nodes. Most astrologers understand and use the lunar nodes as they ascend and descend the ecliptic. Mark continues the work of Dane Rudhyar and others by considering that all planets cross the ecliptic and therefore form a nodal axis.

Astrologers often equate the moon’s nodes with an individual’s personal evolution. What does it mean for the individual, or society itself, when we take a deep look at the nodes of Jupiter, Saturn or Pluto, for example?

This talk will also attempt to address how these subtle movements in the directions of civilisation impact an individual on a chart-by-chart basis, exploring, for example, in the charts of Alan Turing and Elisabeth Kubler Ross, which are examined in detail. The presentation will also analyse a unique historical point we have reached in the 21st century, where the nodes of Pluto occupy the positions of the Nodes of Neptune during the time of Christ.

The talk is accompanied by striking visuals, highly technical graphics, and animations to help the viewer understand the various technical considerations. (animations showing the clear distinctions between helio and geo positions; graphs showing the evolution of PN positions over more extended historical periods)
