Full Moon Sagittarius
A beacon of truth and vision
The Sagittarius Full Moon beams in at 9°55’.
A supersonic lunation radiating from the axis of the red giant stars Antares, known as the Heart of the Scorpion, and Aldebaran, the Eye of the Bull, as the Moon opposes the Sun across this powerful celestial gateway.
These two royal stars add an enduring potency behind this Sagittarian Full Moon, one that calls upon our courage, our conviction, and our endless quest for truth, meaning, and justice in this world.
Make sure to try and see it outside if you can, and hope for clear skies. As the Moon is also Out of Bounds in Sagittarius a southern sign, at its most highest point here in the Southern Hemisphere. I looked up last night, cranking my neck straight above 180° seeing so high approaching Antares. In the northern latitudes it continues to walk the land, being a low sign in the north as well as being Out of Bounds, the Moon hardly rises. This phenomena is known as the Lunistice (Lunar Standstill) that peaked in 2025, with the Moon reaching its extremes it happens every 18 years, this will continue for another few years as it slowly moves back in.
The Moon is Out of Bounds, but so are Mercury and Venus. Their journey beyond the usual limits gives this lunation an extra edge, encouraging us to step beyond perceived restrictions, think outside the lines, and trust ourselves more deeply than ever before.
Overseeing this lunation, Sagittarius’ ruler Jupiter engages from its comfort zone of Cancer, reminding us to feel, to love, to protect, and to nurture the goodness within ourselves and others. We live in harsh times and need t take care more than ever.
Uranus in Gemini squares the nodal axis at this time, signalling crossroads of radical change and redirection. Neptune continues dissolving old identities while calling us all to be VisionAries, while Pluto’s transit through Aquarius continues its profound transformation of our collective future.
We’ll make it through, keep the vision strong and trust what is a ahead.
