As Mars stations direct over coming days we prepare for the next retrograde loop of of Venus which begins on the weekend of March 1st. As Mars and Venus have the rarest of retrograde loops, Mars every 24-26 months and Venus like clockwork every 19 months. This year their retrograde cycles almost overlap as they do every 32 years, when Venus takes over the retrograde baton from Mars, and in Mars’ sign Aries.
