Between Worlds
and the discovery of Chiron
As the world gears up to celebrate the Days of the Dead, Samhain, and Halloween, and the thinning of the veils between this world and the other, we are each called to realign with spirit in whatever way feels most meaningful.
Astrologers are reminded of a moment of cosmic synchronicity, around this time, the discovery of the Wounded Healer, Chiron, on the morning following Hallow’s Eve, November 1st, 1977, at 10:00 AM, when in the earthy sign of 3° Taurus.
Born to global consciousness, under a chart with the Sun in Scorpio conjunct Uranus, a Sagittarius rising at the Galactic Centre, and a healing Moon conjunct Jupiter in Cancer, and Pluto joined to the karmic nodes, Chiron’s discovery itself carried the promise of awakening, a bridge between worlds, between science and spirit, the visible and the unseen. Chiron itself, square to Mars in the 8th house in mutual reception with the Scorpio Sun, follows the trail of its transformative breakthroughs.
Ever since, Chiron opened us to taboos once forbidden, calling us to venture into the deeper mysteries of life : the hidden, the unspoken, and the transformative.
Chiron has guided us toward a deeper understanding of healing, and original medicine, not only of the body, but of soul and consciousness, reminding us that our wounds are not weaknesses, but gateways to wisdom and that we are spiritual beings having an earthly experience......
