The Sun in Libra and the Dragon’s Axis:
A Tale of Eclipses.
In the celestial realms, the Sun journeys through the heavens, unwavering and majestic, ruler of day and bringer of light. Yet, even the mightiest of beings must face their trials, and for the Sun, the most formidable is the Dragon’s Axis—a cosmic gate guarded by a serpent of shadow and time that it encounters every 6 months.
The Sun knows that to progress in its eternal voyage, it must pass through this gate during the coming Solar eclipse at 10° degrees Libra on October 2nd, a sacred and often feared threshold. The Dragon coils itself around the axis, eyes gleaming with ancient wisdom and a hunger to test all who dare approach. Many celestial heroes had come before, and each was judged by the Dragon, not merely by strength but by the courage to embrace their own strength and darkness.
As the Sun nears, the sky dims, and the stars watch in silent anticipation. The Dragon hisses, its voice a whisper of old tales and forgotten battles.
“Mighty Sun, bearer of light, do you dare to cross my axis? To see beyond what you illuminate and confront what you cannot yet see?”
The Sun does not falter, for it knows its journey is not just a movement through the heavens, but another initiation—an encounter with the shadow that lay within every hero. The Sun’s rays flicker, not out of fear, but in acknowledgment of the task at hand. The eclipse begins, and the world holds its breath as light meets shadow.
The Dragon rears back, opening a passage within the darkness, but not without a challenge. “To pass, you must surrender to the stillness of night and allow your light to be consumed. Only then can you be reborn.”
With a blaze of resolve, the Sun dims under the crossing Moon , stepping into the shadow’s embrace. For a moment, all is silent; even the winds pause, and the world is still. But from within the shadow’s heart, the Sun’s light bursts forth anew, not diminished but transformed, shining with a deeper radiance that spoke of humility, strength, and the knowledge that every hero’s journey is incomplete without facing their dragon.
The Dragon bowed its head in reverence, recognizing the Sun’s triumph, not over it but with it. The path beyond was now clear, and as the eclipse fades, the Sun emerges on the other side of the Dragon’s Axis, blazing with a light more profound than before.
The Sun continues its journey, carrying the memory of its initiation past the Dragon, a reminder to all who witnessed: true power comes not from avoiding the shadows but from embracing and transcending them.
